You can buy special crowns for your King in the Pawn Shop or in the Army Upgrades menu that change the way you play the game.
Once you bought a crown, you can equip it in the Army Upgrades menu.
THE REGULAR CROWN
This is the default crown in the game. Your king moves like a regular chess king.
THE HORSEMAN CROWN
When wearing this crown, your king can move like a knight. It a technical crown that is pretty hard to master, but it's easy to confuse your opponent.
THE COMMANDER CROWN
When wearing this crown, your king can give orders to all your pieces BEFORE their cooldown is over. It gives you the ability to plan your next move ahead of time and focus on your offensive.
THE MAD KING CROWN
Your king will either behave as a normal king, a queen, a rook, a bishop, a knight or even a pawn every time you move him.
